Armex Christmas Social 2025 – Fast Laps & Good Food
At Armex Energy Solutions Ltd, we spend most of the year delivering projects at full speed, so it felt right that our Christmas social this year involved a bit of friendly competition… and a lot of throttle.
To wrap up 2025, the team headed to TeamSport Go Karting Eastleigh for an afternoon of indoor electric karting, followed by a well-earned meal at The Old Forge.
Three races. Zero mercy.
We ran three back-to-back races on the electric karts, quick, quiet, and seriously punchy off the line.
Let’s just say… the “it’s only for fun” attitude disappeared pretty quickly once the helmets went on.
Lap times dropped, elbows came out (politely), and the leaderboard got very competitive.
Podium finishers 🏁
After three races, the results were in:
🥇 Scott Adams – 1st place
🥈 Lee Elkins – 2nd place
🥉 Darren Heather – 3rd place
Some very respectable driving all round, although there are already calls for a rematch next year.
Ending the year properly
After the racing, we headed over to The Old Forge for food, drinks, and a proper catch-up away from sites, drawings and programmes.
It’s easy to forget how valuable it is to just slow down together for a bit. No deadlines, no Teams calls, just good food and good company.
